On September 19-20, 2015, Chad Lapp ran 103 miles in 24 hours to raise awareness of CAH and support CARES Foundation. He raised over $15,000! Here is a video that gives us a glimpse inside the race.

For five years, Chad has run in support of his friend’s 6-year old son Andrew, who lives with congenital adrenal hyperplasia. He has raised over $50,000 for CARES Foundation while raising awareness of CAH.

In May, Chad ran 156 miles in 48 hours. On September 19th-20th, he will run in his 6th Northcoast 24-hour race. The race will be run around a .90075 mile USATF certified course in Edgewater Park, Cleveland, OH. This year’s race is the USA NATIONAL Championships.
“I want to recognize Andrew, along with other CAH patients and their families. CARES Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides support and research opportunities for CAH patients around the world. CARES doesn’t receive government funding, and doesn’t have a supply of money from national sponsorships. CARES exists primarily because of financial support from the CAH community. Give back to the CARES Foundation and support my
24 Hour run as I continue to support all those affected by CAH. Thank you.”  ~ Chad W. Lapp
