That’s right! CARES Foundation Board of Trustees President, Chad Lapp will run once again in support of his friend Andrew and to raise awareness of CAH!

Chad has been running for CARES and Andrew for many years now. This is his second 72-hr run where runners attempt to complete as many miles as they can in a 72-hour time period. Last year, Chad ran 200 miles! This year he hopes to break that record and,

“On May 18-21, I will race again in the 3 DAYS AT THE FAIR Ultra Race in Augusta, NJ.   (http://www.njtrailseries.com/. They offer timed races of 144, 72, 48, 24 and 12 hours. Run as      many miles as you can in the allotted time!
Last year I ran 200 miles in the 72 Hour race, I hope to exceed that mileage this year!   https://youtu.be/aiR1tnTDZOg. (They are offering a 6 day race……….maybe next year). I run in    support of 7 year old Andrew, who lives with a rare adrenal gland disorder known as Congenital    Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). His adrenal gland doesn’t produce the necessary steroid, cortisol,    that is needed to battle illness and stress to the body.
I continue to raise money for the CARES FOUNDATION, which is the sole organization in the US  that is dedicated to supporting those affected by this rare disorder. (www.caresfoundation.org)
